Why wouldn’t we choose the most capable person to be the Secretary of Education. President Obama selected Arne Duncan, whose last job was as CEO of Chicago schools. In one year stated that Chicago students meeting or exceeding state standards rose by 15%…the real reason for the rise was changing the test not improved education.

So it looks like the taxpayers are now going to own some state parks in California.

So what are members of congress and their staff going to learn by visiting the Galápagos Islands.  In a time when the government is just burning through money spending on taxpayer-funded trips rises tenfold.

I guess this is change we can believe in, unemployment rate at 9.5%.

Where is she looking….Gwyneth Paltrow thinks that the United States doesn’t have a history…old building here are only 17 years old.  Maybe we could get some stimulus funds to take her to Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Boston or many other cities so that she can see buildings older than 17 years old and at the same time learn some American history.
