There are some days when I just can’t stand it. I really can’t believe that these people are serious. If they are we are certainly in for some dark days.
Liberal Logic 1 – One Nebraska school is banning gender.
You just can’t make this stuff up. Wathcdog.org’s Deena Winter reports:
“A Lincoln middle school staffer gave teachers training documents advising them not to use “gendered expressions” by calling students “boys and girls” or “ladies and gentlemen,” but to instead use more generic expressions like campers, readers, athletes or even purple penguins to be more “gender inclusive.”
Yes, calling all middle school students purple penguins instead of boys and girls won’t cause them any issues in life. Read more.
Liberal Logic 2 – Joe Biden (a comics dream)
- “our biggest problem is our allies.” Quote on Oct 2 speaking at the Harvard Kennedy School on the war in Syria
- “The middle class is what built this country,” Biden said. “And I might add, unions built the middle class.”
I agree with the first part of Biden’s quote. The middle class did build this country … but unions did not build the middle class. There was a time and place for unions and they certainly increased workplace safety in certain fields of work, but like dinosaurs, their time is up. Unions don’t provide any tangible benefits to its members. In fact, unions were partially responsible for loosing so many of those middle class jobs to other states or countries. Boeing is a great example. They have manufacturing in two states now. Washington and South Carolina. Washington is unionized and South Carolina isn’t….results…cheaper to build the plane in South Carolina without any reduction in safety or quality.
Liberal Logic 3 – I can’t say if I voted for him
Alison Lundergan Grimes, a Democrat trying to unseat Mitch McConnell in Kentucky was asked a simple question. Did she vote for Obama in 2008 and 2012…seems like it should be a simple answer, yes or no. I just don’t understand why a Democrat wouldn’t want to be associated with Obama
Michelle Nun is also mum on the question “did you vote for Obama in 2008 and 2012”. I can’t understand why they would want to distance themselves.
