Although President Obama said there isn’t anything to worry about, obviosuly not wanting to panic the populace, VP Biden says if a family member asked him about traveling, he’d advise staying away from public transportation to avoid swine flu.

Well, I couldn’t take it anymore.  I had to put my newspaper down.  I asked him if he was sure about the comment from Sarah Palin concerning seeing Russia.  He said he was, he saw it on TV.  I pressed to ensure he wasn’t watching Tina Fey on SNL.  He said he wasn’t and that’s what she (Sarah Palin) said.  I told him that it wasn’t Sarah Palin but Tina Fey that made that comment.  I continued by also telling him that although John McCain has had skin cancer removed, he hasn’t had a stroke or heart attack and that he should check his facts before speaking so loudly in public.  People that don’t know or aren’t sure might mistake his comments for fact.   He then just got loud saying “I can see Russia from my porch” over and over.  At that point I went back to my lunch and just hoped that he would forget to vote on November 4^th.

Here’s someone that knows how to make a dollar.  Donald Trump, who did support Hillary Clinton, now supports John McCain.

Finally some truth…the Democratic Congress acknowledges that it isn’t equipped to lead or find a way out of the current financial crisis.

There isn’t one party or one person that you can pin the current financial crisis on.  From former President Clinton opening the gates to the republican and democratic congresses not doing anything about the oncoming storm since the late 90′s.  But saying that the Democrats bear no responsibility is juvenile.  Sen. Pelosi’s comments indicate that she is either unaware of the facts or believes that her constituents are just ignorant.  There is enough blame to go around.

Looks like Sen Obama is now travelling with his teleprompter.
