Chuck Schumer declares Al Franken the winnerin the Minnesota Senate recount.  Reminds me of the Washington State governors election….just keep counting until you win.

To save money, Gov. Chris Gregoire wants illegal aliens serving time in state prisons deported. It’s about time, their illegal and shouldn’t be here…send them home.

Gov. Richardson withdraws from the Obama cabinet.  Barack Obama picked him on the fast track but now must find a replacement…seems that there might be a federal investigation into how his political donors landed lucrative contracts.  So Obama has taken office yet and we have 2 democrat governors (Blagojevich and Richardson).

5 state governors (New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio and Wisconsin — all Democrats) are seeking 1 trillion in federal assistance.  If a governor cannot manage their budget they should be replaced….same thing that would happen to the CEO of a business.

A federal commission created by Congress to find ways to make up for revenue shortfalls has the answer…a 50% hike int in the federal gas tax.  I hope they didn’t get paid for that brilliant advice.

Hillary as Secretary of State – What do the Clintons have on Obama - I’ve tried to figure out what, in her background, provided her the experience to be the US Secretary of State.

Portland Oregon installs a new public toilet, at the cost of $140,000…for one.  When the citizens of our cities start to understand that the Government doesn’t make a dime and these projects come from the tax base maybe they will take a stand.  I really have a hard time comprehending this project…as progressive as Portland might be, I’m sure there are other projects on their list that could have used the financing. 

Unions at work – since when is closing a school for low enrollment changed to “Evicting Children”.  States are under budget crunches like most of us.  We have to cut items that aren’t worth the expense.  If I have schools that have low enrollment because there aren’t any kids to attend, why leave it operating.

Illinois Governor arrested on federal charges…can you actually trust these people anymore.  They have no other marketable skills than being a politician.  They stand before us saying how hard they’re working for us…fighting for the everyday man and women, and then behind our backs they manipulating the system for their benefit.
